At the last LivingKitchen, Dornbracht has presented Elio, single-lever mixer with retractable outlet, and Pivot, the new premium fitting with a flexible, 360° radius of activity.
With its extension to the programme of products in its Elio kitchen series, Dornbracht presents the single-lever Elio mixer with the new, retractable outlet. For the first time, to match Elio and other fitting series, Dornbracht now offers a single basin in high-quality stainless steel, with an integrated tap hole bench in which the fitting is mounted directly to the basin. This way, fitting and basin optimally fit in with the design of modern kitchens.
With this fitting, subdued in form and high in functionality, Dornbracht supplements its programme by adding a product type with a high level of market acceptance: kitchen users highly value retractable fittings for their functionality as they considerably enlarge the radius of activity of the water outlet. The retractable outlet of this new fitting is particularly durable
and offers a pleasant feel and ease of operation.
As with all of the Dornbracht series for the kitchen, with the new Elio single-lever mixer, along with design, the main focus is upon functionality. The new woven hose was developed to meet the high requirements involved in retractable water outlets: it is extremely bend-resistant, with smooth and quiet travel when extended and retracted. These properties provide for particularly convenient handling at and around the kitchen sink. The silver-grey colour of the woven hose coordinates well with the chrome and matt platinum surfaces of the fittings.
The Elio design was created paying particular attention to providing ergonomic support for everyday sequences of movement. With its round, harmonious language of form, it can be perfectly combined with contemporary kitchen materials.
Pivot
With Pivot, the new single-lever mixer, Dornbracht presents the first fitting for use throughout the entire kitchen island. Pivot combines high-quality aesthetics with practical functionality. The particularly long projection of the 55 cm range of motion permits a 360° radius of activity while meeting the most demanding standards of flexibility and comfort in the kitchen.
The filigree, scaled-back form harmonises with the unobtrusive design of the Tara Ultra series. Pivot projects the minimalist perfection of the entire series onto a new and extraordinary type of fitting distinguished for its sculptural character. The notchless lever rounds off the clear language of form, making Pivot a stylish alternative to the retractinghose spray heads.
As a single-lever mixer with a hot- and cold-water valve, Pivot supplements the discerning Dornbracht portfolio by adding a valuable premium fitting and bringing even more comfort into the kitchen. During cooking, Pivot adapts to the kitchen user@¬#s individual needs and expectations. The product was designed by Sieger Design. Pivot is available in chrome and matt platinum surface finishes.
