Elica wins the Iconic Award 2017

Elica and the Elica Design Center, which is led by Fabrizio Crisà, are really very proud of this new achievement. The designer, whose creative genius stands behind all of the products manufactured by the Fabriano based company, commented: Winning the Iconic Design Award 2017, with the three flagship products presented at Eurocucina FTK 2016, has filled us with pride. In particular, thanks to NikolaTesla, our new aspirating induction hob, we are currently taking on a new category of products and this recognition just confirms that we are headed in the right direction.

NikolaTesla is the showpiece of the new Elica products presented at Eurocucina 2016: a product by which the company enters a new product category: the aspirating induction hobs. NikolaTesla stands out for its strong lines, top performance and user friendly usage and maintenance, by combining the features of two appliances, the hob and the aspiration system, in one single product. Available in both filtering and aspiration version, the hob was thought up to fit any kinds of spaces, and thanks to a series of accessories and technical details , such as the possibility of removing the filters from the top, it can meet any installation need. Thus, completely setting itself apart from every other similar product already available on the market.

This award confirms the starring role played by Elica in the world of design and of Made in Italy excellence, which is well represented by NikolaTesla, Bio and Summilux. The Iconic Design Award 2017, is another recognition to add to the long list of awards already won throughout the last few months, the latest of which being the honorable mention assigned to the hood Nuage, at the XXVI Edition of the Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI 2016.
