Electrolux repite en el Índice Dow Jones

El Grupo Electrolux se ha posicionado, por décima vez, en el Índice Dow Jones de Sostenibilidad 2009, que evalúa el comportamiento financiero relativo a sostenibilidad de las compañías de Europa y de la Eurozona.

El índice Dow Jones de Sostenibilidad, que se publica desde 1999, tiene influencia sobre las decisiones de inversión de los gestores de capital de más de 14 países y sobre una gran variedad de portafolios basados en desarrollo sostenible. Además es el ranking de inversión en responsabilidad social más consultado.
 
Según Henrik Sundström, vicepresidente de Medio Ambiente y Sostenibilidad del Grupo Electrolux, “nuestra presencia, un año más, en el Índice Dow Jones de Sostenibilidad refleja de manera clara cómo el mercado percibe nuestros continuos esfuerzos en materia de desarrollo sostenible”.
 
Marisa Martínez-Segarra, responsable de Comunicación de Electrolux España, añade: "pese a la actual situación, nuestro Grupo es consciente de que la preocupación por el medio ambiente es una prioridad a la hora de crear nuestros productos. Prueba de este compromiso es que el Grupo desarrolla una completa gama de electrodomésticos ecoeficientes que contribuyen a aprovechar los recursos naturales de modo racional y, en consecuencia, producen un mínimo impacto para el medio ambiente”.
