El transporte, a debate en el Foro Nacional de Aecoc

Cerca de 400 directivos de compañías cargadoras y de transporte se dan cita en Madrid hoy y mañana para analizar las ventajas de ampliar la capacidad de carga del transporte por carretera, entre otras cuestiones.

El transporte a debate en el Foro Nacional de AecocEl punto de encuentro organizado por AECOC analizará los retos a los que se enfrenta este sector profesional en la actualidad.

Entre estos, la apuesta por la intermodalidad, las oportunidades de la internacionalización o el potencial del aumento de las capacidades de carga. Respecto a esta última cuestión, se analizarán las ventajas de la introducción del “megacamión” de 25.25 m y 44 tn, que ya se emplea en algunos países europeos.

Para ello, el Foro cuenta con la participación de un representante del ministerio holandés de Transporte y los asistentes pueden ver un vehículo de este tipo en la entrada al recinto donde se celebra esta semana el Punto de Encuentro.

Asimismo, el Foro Nacional del Transporte cuenta con la participación de destacadas organizaciones del sector como Grupo Salvat Logística, TMW Logistics, Transportes Sesé o Transcalit junto a responsables de Logística de compañías de la talla de Fagor Electrónica, Leroy Merlin, BBVA, Grupo Carrefour o PwC. Entre todos tratarán de arrojar luz sobre los principales retos y oportunidades que el sector puede aprovechar en la coyuntura actual.

La secretaria general de Transportes del Ministerio de Fomento, Carmen Librero, es la encargada de inaugurar en Madrid el XII Foro Nacional del Transporte.
