CONFEMADERA está desarrollando un proyecto financiado por el Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio con el fin de que las empresas del sector puedan ofrecer al mercado productos con el sello CE.

La entrada en vigor del CTE ha puesto en funcionamiento el cumplimiento de lo establecido en la Directiva de Productos de la Construcción (DCP) para el marcado “CE” de los productos a su salida de fábrica, donde se describe el producto y se informa de sus características.

Durante el primer semestre de este año, CONFEMADERA, en colaboración con asociaciones miembro, ha realizado más de una decena de jornadas informativas técnicas sobre el marcado CE en todo el territorio nacional con el objetivo de dar a conocer los principales conceptos relacionados con la calidad (producto y proceso), presentar en profundidad los requisitos exigidos por el Marcado CE y la mejor forma de implementarlos y exponer las exigencias de calidad requeridas a los materiales estructurales por el Código Técnico de la Edificación.

Actualmente se está trabajando en la implantación y obtención del certificado del marcado CE para madera aserrada de uso estructural adaptando a las empresas a los requisitos establecidos en la DCP con el fin de contribuir y facilitar el cumplimiento de esta exigencia que entró en vigor el pasado 1 de septiembre, y con ello, fomentar la competitividad del sector.

La totalidad de las empresas participantes (más de una decena) disfrutan además del certificado de cadena de custodia obtenido con el asesoramiento de la patronal, por lo que ofertan productos de calidad obtenidos a partir de la transformación de materias primas de origen sostenible.

A finales de año, CONFEMADERA editará un guía de uso sencillo y práctico sobre la implantación del marcado CE.
