El mueble de España, en Emiratos Árabes

Anieme promociona el Mueble de España en Emiratos Árabes y Qatar a través de diversas misiones comerciales y su participación en la Feria Index Dubai 2008.

Según Anieme, el espectacular desarrollo que ha experimentado en Emiratos Árabes y Qatar la industria de la construcción, tanto residencial como de instalaciones, supone importantes oportunidades de negocio para las empresas españolas del sector del mueble que trabajan a través del canal Contract.

Es por eso que la Asociación está haciendo verdaderos esfuerzos por promocionar el “Mueble de España" en estos mercados. Lo último ha sido una misión comercial directa a Emiratos Árabes y Qatar que tuvo lugar durante los días 26 de noviembre a 3 de diciembre de 2007 y en la que participaron 15 empresas españolas procedentes de la Comunidad Valenciana, Cataluña, Andalucía y Canarias.

La acción se desarrolló en las ciudades de Dubai y Doha y contó con el apoyo de la Oficina Comercial de España en Dubai. Los resultados comerciales a corto y medio plazo fruto de estas misiones comerciales son los que han impulsado la idea de plantear una participación agrupada de empresas españolas del mueble en la próxima edición de la feria Index Dubai, que se celebrará del 3 al 7 de diciembre de 2008.

Oportunidades de oro

En Emiratos Árabes existe un gran número de proyectos a desarrollar en los próximos años, la mayoría de los cuales se encuentran actualmente en fase de construcción: The Palms, Dubai Festival City y Dubai Marina, entre otros, que suponen la construcción de residencias de lujo, complejos hoteleros del más alto nivel, restaurantes, campos de golf, centros comerciales…etc., que deben ser amueblados.

Lo mismo ocurre en Qatar, mercado que, a pesar de haber comenzado su crecimiento urbanístico con posterioridad a Emiratos Árabes, está ya a la cabeza de los países del Golfo Pérsico en cuanto a proyectos Contract se refiere, destacando el proyecto The Pearl, el cual, al igual que The Palms en Dubai, agrupa una serie de complejos residenciales de lujo construidos sobre terrenos ganados al mar.
