Doscientos compradores internacionales en Construtec

La visita se enmarca en el Plan de Internacionalización de los Materiales de Construcción impulsado por el ICEX, la CEPCO, 14 comunidades autónomas y el Consejo Superior de Cámaras de Comercio.

Más de 200 compradores de todo el mundo están visitando desde el martes 5 de octubre el Salón de la Construcción Construtec 2010, que se está celebrando estos días en Madrid junto al Salón Internacional de la Cocina Integral (SICI 2010). Ambos salones cierran sus puertas hoy, 8 de octubre.

La visita se enmarca en el Plan de Internacionalización de los Materiales de Construcción puesto en marcha el pasado mes de septiembre por el ICEX, la Confederación Española de Asociaciones de Fabricantes de Materiales de Construcción (CEPCO), 14 comunidades autónomas y el Consejo Superior de Cámaras de Comercio (CSC) con el objetivo de dinamizar el mercado español de los materiales de construcción, afectado por la crisis y la caída del sector inmobiliario.

Esta misión de compradores está permitiendo a las empresas expositoras acceder a nuevas oportunidades de negocio y potenciar su internacionalización, así como reforzar el perfil internacional del certamen.

 

Plan a tres años

 

El Plan de Internacionalización de los Materiales de Construcción se ha planteado como un proyecto a tres años y con tres objetivos fundamentales: dar a conocer en los mercados extranjeros la oferta española; aumentar las exportaciones del sector; y mejorar la imagen de la industria española de cara a los operadores y prescriptores internacionales.

 

Aunque la crisis ha afectado de lleno a la construcción, el sector sigue teniendo un peso muy importante en el conjunto de la economía española: en 2009 estaba representado por más de 5.000 empresas que facturaban más de 46.000 millones de euros y que generaban casi 500.000 empleos.
