Donación solidaria de electrodomésticos de Fagor

Fagor, respondiendo a la solicitud de la Fundación Sandra Ibarra, ha colaborado para mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes de Oncología del Hospital Virgen de la Macarena.

Fagor ha donado recientemente dos frigoríficos y un microondas al Hospital Virgen Macarena de Sevilla para su uso por parte de los pacientes de la planta de oncología. La compañía recibió, por medio de la Fundación Sandra Ibarra de Solidaridad Frente al Cáncer, la solicitud de ayuda de los responsables de la planta de oncología del hospital. Esta entidad sin ánimo de lucro trabaja para recaudar fondos y financiar proyectos de investigación y atender las necesidades de los hospitales a fin de mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes.

Desde Fagor señalan que ha sido todo un honor y privilegio para la marca haber podido participar en este proyecto solidario haciendo entrega de dichos electrodomésticos, más aún, sabiendo que éste tiene como objeto atender las necesidades de los pacientes y mejorar su calidad de vida en el hospital, permitiéndoles llevar y conservar su propia comida casera.

Los tratamientos de cáncer suponen una hospitalización de larga duración y la variedad y sabor de las comidas proporcionadas por el hospital no siempre son agradables para los pacientes, por lo que, gracias a la donación de Fagor, los pacientes podrán llevar su propia comida de casa.

Para terminar, la empresa ha ratificado que seguirá colaborando con diversas asociaciones y entidades sin ánimo de lucro y participando en los proyectos solidarios que lleven a cabo.
