De cómo se mide el diseño

Los días 7 y 8 de abril, Barcelona acoge un encuentro de expertos internacionales que, con la participación de la OCDE, están debatiendo sobre la definición y la medición del diseño.

La sesión de trabajo, organizada por BCD Barcelona Centro de Diseño y el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona bajo el nombre "Midiendo el diseño: desarrollo de estrategias de mejora", pretende analizar el diseño como actividad económica y como componente clave de la innovación.

Uno de los principales objetivos de este evento es lograr consenso sobre la definición del diseño y establecer la estrategia internacional para su potenciación. 
 
Para ello, la sesión de trabajo, que tiene como escenario el Roca Barcelona Gallery, reúne a un grupo de 13 expertos internacionales de diversas áreas relacionadas con el diseño y la innovación para compartir buenas prácticas y proponer acciones y líneas estratégicas que ayuden a analizar el diseño como actividad económica y como componente clave del proceso de innovación.

El establecimiento de las bases de consenso sobre la definición del diseño y su medición facilitará la obtención de datos comparativos a nivel internacional y, en consecuencia, ayudará a determinar el rol que juega el diseño como parte fundamental del proceso de innovación.
