Cosentino inaugura en Honolulu su primer Center de Hawai

Grupo Cosentino inauguró el pasado mes de julio su primer Cosentino Center de Hawai en Honolulu. El nuevo Center refleja el crecimiento continuado de Cosentino en Norteamérica y a nivel internacional.

30.08.2018 Hawai se ha consolidado como una de las comunidades más relevantes para arquitectos y diseñadores en Norteamérica, remarca Eduardo Cosentino, CEO de Cosentino North America y EVP Global Sales para Grupo Cosentino. Al expandir nuestra presencia a Hawai con este nuevo Center ofrecemos a los arquitectos y diseñadores de la ciudad acceso inmediato a nuestras últimas novedades de producto y acceso al mejor servicio, demostrando así nuestro compromiso permanente con la comunidad de A&D y con el mercado de Estados Unidos.

Ceremonia de inaguración

Así, la inauguración del espacio expositivo se celebró con una ceremonia y baile tradicionales hawaianos, durante la cual, un sacerdote o Kahu hawaiano, el Kahu Shon Kihewa bendijo y purificó el espacio. La ceremonia de purificación hawaiana tiene su origen en la ancestral cultura hawaiana y está basada en las creencias tradicionales de Hawai. Durante la ceremonia, el Kahu limpia el espacio de energías negativas o de mal de ojo que pudiera haber en el lugar, de manera que los nuevos ocupantes pueden comenzar con un espacio limpio y bendecido.

Más tarde, el espectáculo tras la ceremonia consistió en varias danzas de Hawai y del Pacífico Sur. Estos bailes se llevaban a cabo tradicionalmente para honrar a la realeza hawaiana y hoy se practican como muestra de respeto y honor para invitados especiales. Las danzas representadas fueron el Hula, el Tahitiano y el Siva Afi.
