Cosentino imagina la encimera de cocina del futuro

En el marco de la I edición del programa de creatividad Imagine IoT, Cosentino quiere crear la encimera de cocina del año 2030. Un grupo de siete dreamers trabaja ya en el reto.

Cosentino se ha unido a la I edición de Imagine IoT, un programa de creatividad que identifica problemáticas empresariales y sociales y propone soluciones innovadoras desde el área del Internet of Things. A través de esta colaboración, en los próximos meses se dará a conocer mundialmente cómo será la encimera de cocina del año 2030, o, en otras palabras, cómo será la encimera del futuro.

Para imaginar, diseñar y desarrollar el proyecto, se ha formado un grupo de trabajo compuesto por siete dreamers que determinará las problemáticas del reto planteado y sugerirá soluciones globales hasta llegar al diseño definitivo. Este equipo de trabajo está formado por tres miembros de Cosentino: Isabel Martínez-Cosentino Ramos, consejera y miembro de la Comisión de Innovación; Valentín Tijeras García, vicepresidente de Producto e Innovación; y Lorena González Teruel, responsable de Producto; y por cuatro estudiantes y antiguos alumnos de las escuelas y universidades participantes: Víctor Betriu de Elisava, Chetan KC de la UPC-FIB, David Riudor de UPC-Telecos y Sindy Petoia de EADA. Los dreamers se enfrentan a todo un reto social y empresarial, y que supondrá un gran impacto mundial.

El proyecto Imagine IoT se desarrolla a través del consorcio entre Imagine, EADA Business School, Elisava School of Design and Engineering, Escola Técnica Superior d’Enginyeria de Telecomunicació de Barcelona (ETSETB) y la Facultat d’Informática de Barcelona (FIB) de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

Según Valentín Tijeras, vicepresidente de Producto e Innovación de Cosentino, con esta iniciativa, pretendemos imaginar y crear junto a jóvenes promesas del mundo de los negocios, el diseño y la tecnología, una solución que proporcione valor e inspire la vida de las personas. Gracias a la colaboración con Imagine IoT, Cosentino vuelve a colocarse a la vanguardia en innovación para el sector de las superficies destinadas al ámbito de la arquitectura y el diseño.
