En su edición de 2008, los ganadores de los Premios Corian de Diseño han sido la original vivienda La Casa Blanca, el edificio Villanurbs y la mesa Klong.

Más de 100 candidaturas han sido presentadas a la III edición de los Premios Corian de Diseño en sus distintas modalidades de concurso. El certamen, de carácter bienal, distingue entre instalación Dupont Corian en el hogar, en otros espacios y proyectos de diseño, que cambián de temática en cada convocatoria. Para esta última modalidad, se establece una dotación económica cifrada en 8.000 euros.

Diseñada por Juan y José Luis Barón, La Casa Blanca, ubicada en Sitges (Barcelona), ha sido creada por paredes, suelos, baño, jacuzzi, cocina y terraza en Dupont Corian Glacier White, lo que confiere a la vivienda una elegancia sobria y un cálido ambiente con una gran luz natural.

La fachada del edificio Villanurbs, en Empuriabrava (Girona), destaca por la aplicación de Corian en el exterior, concretamente en gran parte de la fachada norte. Su arquitecto, Enric Ruiz Geli, explica que ha utilizado Dupont Corian por su capacidad de termoformado, duración y translucidez.

Por último, la mesa Klong, diseñada por Jordi Rizo Altemir, utiliza Dupont Corian porque permite el termoformado y las uniones con juntas invisibles. La lámpara utiliza tecnología LED que se ajusta al reducido espacio disponible.
