Clúster de la Madera de Galicia presenta Concept Furniture-Mueble del Futuro

Según Ángel Hermida, presidente del Clúster, el principal objetivo de este proyecto es la potenciación de acciones encaminadas al desarrollo del diseño en la industria del mueble gallego.

El pasado viernes, 3 de octubre, el Clúster de la Madera de Galicia, en colaboración con la Xunta de Galicia y la Escuela Universitaria de Diseño Industrial, inauguró en el Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Santiago de Compostela la Exposición Concept Furniture ? El mueble del futuro, con 48 proyectos de inmobiliario gallego de futuro creados por los alumnos de la Escuela Técnica de Diseño Industrial de El Ferrol.

El acto estuvo presidido por el Consejero de Innovación e Industria, D. Fernando X. Blanco Álvarez, el Presidente del Clúster de la Madera de Galicia, D. Ángel Hermida Lage, el Vicerector de Calidad y Armonización Europea, D. Manuel Peralbo Uzquiano, y el Director de la Escuela Universitaria de Diseño Industrial, D. José Ramón Méndez.

En la intervención de los ponentes, se puso de manifiesto que uno de los objetivos de este encuentro es concienciar a los empresarios participantes de que el diseño es un elemento diferenciador. Por ello, el Clúster de la Madera de Galicia ha asumido el compromiso de convertirse en canalizador de las necesidades de cada empresa y facilitarles las herramientas para que puedan incorporar el diseño a sus productos.

La exposición estará abierta hasta el próximo 9 de noviembre, día en el que se trasladará al prestigioso Instituto Cervantes de Milán, donde abrirá sus puertas el próximo 30 de noviembre , hasta el 15 de febrero de 2007.

Santos, gran referente del diseño gallego

Los responsables del Clúster de la Madera de Galicia quisieron mostrar a la prensa especializada invitada a la Exposición un claro ejemplo del potencial en diseño que existe en tierras gallegas a través de una visita guiada a la empresa especializada en la fabricación de muebles de cocina Santos.

Fundada en el año 1952, ahora Santos cuenta con 6 naves de producción en las que se cuidan sobremanera las medidas de seguridad, los parámetros de calidad y el respeto al medio ambiente.
