CENFIM participa en un proyecto de compra de muebles inteligente

El proyecto europeo FurnIT-SAVER ayudará en el proceso de compra de muebles utilizando Realidad Aumentada y Virtual.

Mientras muchos compradores utilizan Internet para buscar muebles, la mayoría de las ventas se realizan en las tiendas, ya que el cliente es incapaz de visualizar completamente en el emplazamiento definitivo el producto que está considerando comprar. Además, la mayoría de fabricantes y distribuidores tienen un conjunto limitado de productos a ofrecer, compitiendo en mercados locales y pequeños. Normalmente, no pueden conectarse con otros fabricantes para ofrecer un catálogo de productos más amplio con diferentes proveedores de distintos tipos de muebles, lo cual dificulta al cliente final ver conjuntamente todas las piezas que le gustaría comprar.

CENFIM participa en un proyecto de compra de muebles inteligente

El proyecto FurnIT-SAVER (Smart Augmented and Virtual Reality Marketplace for Furniture Customisation) va a resolver estos problemas mediante la utilización de tecnologías de realidad aumentada y virtual, recomendadores basados en inteligencia artificial y soluciones de comercio electrónico para producir un marketplace para la personalización de los muebles. Va a permitir a los clientes realizar planos precisos en tres dimensiones de las habitaciones a diseñar, recomendar, personalizar y visualizar diferentes muebles y disposiciones, y permitir la manipulación de los diferentes atributos de los muebles a su gusto. Por su parte, los fabricantes de muebles podrán subir sus catálogos a la plataforma del proyecto abriendo un nuevo canal de venta para sus productos.

El proyecto FurnIT empezó en febrero de 2015 y tiene una duración de 14 meses. El consorcio está formado por 6 socios que incluyen a la Fundació Privada Ascamm (ASCAMM), el Centre Tecnològic de la Fusta i el Moble de Catalunya (CENFIM) y Westwing como socios españoles, Wood Industry Cluster y Gonzaga-Pro de Eslovenia, y Advanced Computer Systems de Italia.
