Casa Decor Barcelona ya tiene la sede para su edición 2012

El edificio elegido para celebrar la edición 2012 de Casa Decor Barcelona, cuando se cumple el 20 aniversario de la exposición, es un inmueble situado en Aragó, 271, en una de las arterias principales de la Ciudad Condal.

Casa Decor Barcelona 2012, que se celebrará del 8 de noviembre al 9 de diciembre, festejará el 20 aniversario del certamen de una manera muy especial, con la elección de un edificio sede situado dentro del llamado Quadrat d@¬#Or de la ciudad, en el número 271 de la calle Aragó.

Se trata de un edificio singular en el que converge una bella fachada de principios del sigo XX y un interior completamente transformado bajo los cánones estéticos funcionalistas de los años noventa. Líneas rectas, nuevos materiales, sencillez ornamental y preponderancia de la iluminación son sus características más destacadas.

El inmueble, con 3800 m2 repartidos en seis plantas, bajo, sótano y una amplia terraza en la parte posterior, se ha empleado como colegio y como edificio de oficinas, cosa que ha deterninado su configuración interior. En total, se cuentan alrededor de 50 espacios que van de los 12 a los 180 m2 diáfanos, donde la decoración de cocinas jugará un importante papel.
