Candy abre una nueva planta de lavadoras en China

El 14 de noviembre el Grupo Candy inauguró una nueva fábrica en la localidad china de Jiangmen, en la provincia de Guangdong.

El crecimiento y el potencial de China han llevado a Candy a iponer en marcha la nueva planta, que ha supuesto una inversión de 35 millones de euros. En la nueva plant se producirán 2 millones de lavadoras al año.

A la inauguración asistieron representantes de la Familia Fumagalli y del Consejo de Administración de la compañía, además de Massimo Baldassarre, cónsul italiano en Guangzhou, Mario Zanone Poma, presidente de la Cámara de Comercio China-Italia, y algunos altos cargos de Jiangmen y Guangzhou.  Durante la inauguración, Aldo Fumagalli, presidente y CEO del Grupo Candy, presentó los objetivos y estrategias del Grupo en China y en el mercado asiático, mientras Beppe Fumagalli, Director del Sector Empresarial del Lavado, ilustró las características de la nueva planta, considerada la vanguardia en su sector.

Tenemos que abordar nuevos mercados para esquivar la recesión de Europa, dijo Aldo Fumagalli. Ahora tenemos una de las dos plantas más grandes del mundo. La ventaja principal es su potencial de crecimiento, algo que en Europa se complica día tras día. El mercado chino es un elemento de crecimiento que absorbe 20 millones de lavadoras, en contraposición con el millón y medio que consume Italia.

Beppe Fumagalli añadió: La nueva planta de Jiangmen es la más grande en el segmento de lavadoras del Grupo Candy. El proyecto, puesto en marcha hace 20 meses, ya finalmente una realidad. Desde 1945 el Grupo Candy ha invertido en nuevas tecnologías para dar respuesta a las demandas de clientes de todo el mundo con el objeto de conseguir electrodomésticos fiables y eficientes. La nueva planta de Jiangmen suministrará productos a seis continentes y más de 200 países.

La construcción y el equipamiento de la nueva planta de Jiangmen fue obra de un equipo chino-italiano, demostrando así el buen nivel de integración entre las dos culturas. Se ha prestado especial atención al control y reducción de emisiones y a los parámetros de producción ecológica. El resultado es una combinación equilibrada de las mejores tecnologías del mercado a día de hoy.
