Extenda celebra estos días en Nueva York y Miami un encuentro comercial que reúne a empresas andaluzas de decoración y piedra natural con arquitectos, diseñadores e importadores norteamericanos.

Esta actividad tiene lugar desde el 7 al 11 de noviembre y tiene como objetivo principal asentar y fortalecer la presencia de las compañías de estos dos sectores en el mercado estadounidense y buscar nuevas oportunidades para los productos de origen andaluz. Para ello, seis empresas andaluzas están manteniendo encuentros bilaterales con arquitectos, diseñadores e importadores de ambas ciudades norteamericanas y están asistiendo a diversos actos específicos programados para este viaje.

Cuatro empresas almerienses de piedra natural
Las cuatro empresas almerienses Cosentino, Crumar, Mármoles Camar y Mármoles Luis Sánchez, del sector de piedra natural, asisten a este encuentro con el objetivo de realizar un seguimiento a los gabinetes de arquitectura y diseño visitados a través del programa “Embajadores de Mármol en Estados Unidos.”, organizado por Extenda con la colaboración de la AEMA-Asociación de Empresarios del Mármol de Andalucía y la Fundación Marca Macael.

Dos empresas de hábitat
Las firmas Carpintería Ebanistería Peryol (Cádiz) y Macral Global Group (Córdoba) del sector hábitat participan también en este viaje de negocios. Además de asistir a las reuniones comerciales, presentan el portal de internet “Contract” de Extenda, cuyos fines son facilitar a los operadores de este canal la búsqueda de los productos y servicios que necesitan para los proyectos que gestionan, así como informar a las empresas andaluzas sobre las particularidades que lo diferencian del canal tradicional del hábitat (retail) y las oportunidades que presenta.

Exportaciones andaluzas
Según datos de Extenda, las exportaciones andaluzas del sector hábitat al mundo de enero a agosto de 2011 han supuesto un valor de 248,8 millones de euros, un 10,3% más que en el mismo periodo de 2010. Por sectores están las exportaciones de mueble (23,8%), electrodomésticos (18%), equipamiento para colectividades (17%), artículos y productos de limpieza (16%) y piedra natural y sus manufacturas (10%).

Con estas cifras, Estados Unidos es el octavo mercado destino en 2011 para el sector hábitat, en concreto de enero a agosto de 2011 han sido por valor de 5,1 millones de euros, un 16% más que en el mismo periodo del año anterior, ventas que lidera la piedra natural con un 34,5% del total exportado. Por provincias, Málaga (31,4%), Almería (23,5%) y Sevilla (19,4%) copan las ventas.

Por otra parte,  el sector de la piedra natural andaluz ha vendido al mundo de enero a agosto de 2011 por valor de 24,7 millones de euros un 10% más que en el mismo periodo del año anterior y Almería lidera las ventas con un 82% del total. Los principales mercados de destino son Rusia (13%), China (11%), Francia (7,8%), Reino Unido (7,7%) Alemania (7,4%) y Estados Unidos (7,2%).
