Abre Macael, la cultura de la Piedra

La exposición Macael, la cultura de la Piedra estará abierta hasta el 8 de mayo en la sede de la Fundación COAM de Madrid antes de empezar su recorrido por otras ciudades españolas.

Organizada por el Centro Tecnológico Andaluz de la Piedra (CTAP) y el Centro Tecnológico Andaluz de Diseño/Surgenia en colaboración con la Fundación Marca Macael, la exposición Macael, la cultura de la piedra muestra desde el pasado 16 de abril piezas en mármol basadas en obras emblemáticas de épocas pasadas y actuales. Concretamente, recorre la historia de la comarca del mármol desde los primeros restos hasta la actualidad, mostrando los aspectos socioculturales, el desarrollo tecnológico y la evolución de la piedra en la localidad almeriense de Macael.

El día de la inauguración, la exposición contó con las ponencias de dos arquitectos y un diseñador de renombre expertos en piedra natural: Gabriel Allende, Juli Capella y Santiago Miranda, que hablaron de Una petite maison, Piedra, papel y tijera, y Design, piedra de Toque, respectivamente.

Por su parte, el director de marketing del Ctap, Diego Caler, presentó el canal Lítica, un nuevo portal – www.litica.es -, que ofrece a todos los prescriptores información técnica sobre la piedra natural. Se trata de una herramienta que integra, entre otros, un servicio de tendencias, sostenibilidad, mantenimiento, limpieza, aplicaciones y noticias de interés, todo ello relacionado con el universo de la piedra.
