Miriam Llano, Marketing Manager de Cosentino Middle East, ha sido elegida Vicepresidenta de la Cámara de Comercio de España en Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU).

La elección tuvo lugar el pasado 14 de febrero en las instalaciones de Cosentino Dubái; donde Guillermo Cobelo, director general de Técnicas Reunidas en Emiratos Árabes Unidos, fue reelegido presidente de la misma institución.

La trayectoria de Llano en Cosentino

Afronto este nombramiento con gran honor y determinación. Seguiré trabajando para el tejido empresarial español desde los Emiratos Árabes Unidos con una posición de mayor visibilidad y responsabilidad; fortaleciendo relaciones comerciales, culturales y económicas. Llano es asturiana y entró a formar parte del equipo de Cosentino en el año 2015. Inicialmente era miembro del programa de formación Impulsa en el área de Marketing de Reino Unido e Irlanda. Desde 2016 es Coordinadora de Marketing en Oriente Medio, donde desarrolla estrategias corporativas y de posicionamiento de marca en 8 países de la región. Además, Miriam Llano se encarga también de se supervisar las acciones desarrolladas en el espacio Cosentino City Dubái.

Cámara de Comercio de España en Emiratos Árabes Unidos

La Cámara de Comercio de España en Emiratos Árabes Unidos es uno de los principales organismos -junto con la Oficina Comercial– en los que Acción Cultural Española se apoya para acercarse a las empresas. En este sentido, dicha posición le permite recoger todos los proyectos que formarán parte del pabellón español en la Expo Dubái 2020, que finalmente tendrá lugar en octubre de 2021.

De este modo, tras el acuerdo de colaboración firmado con Acción Cultural Española, Grupo Cosentino es empresa colaboradora del Pabellón de España en Expo Dubái 2020; primera Exposición Universal que se celebra en Oriente Medio. Así, Cosentino donará además 2.800 metros cuadrados de la superficie ultracompacta Dekton para pavimentos y revestimientos del Pabellón de España.

Según Santiago Alfonso, VP de Comunicación y Reputación Corporativa de Cosentino, para Cosentino el espíritu de colaboración público-privada constituye un eje clave para su gestión. Igualmente importantes son las alianzas mundiales, de las cuales Cosentino se ocupa del objetivo nº 17 de los ODS promovidos por Naciones Unidas, añade Alfonso. Además, la plena participación de Miriam Llano en el Comité Ejecutivo de la Cámara de Comercio de España en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos ejemplifica la concreción de este objetivo, sentencia.
