La sexagésima edición del Salone del Mobile.Milano, que incluirá los espacios Eurocucina y FTK; no se celebrará en abril como estaba previsto, sino del 5 al 10 de septiembre de 2021.

Tras largas jornadas de debate, la Gerencia del Salone del Mobile y Fiera Milano han llegado a un acuerdo sobre las fechas de celebración del salón. Ambas entidades han considerado que la mejor opción para garantizar tanto el éxito de la muestra como la seguridad de los expositores y los visitantes es trasladarlo de abril a septiembre de 2021.

Del 5 al 10 de septiembre

El presidente del Salone del Mobile, Claudio Luti, ha asegurado que poder celebrar el Salone del Mobile.Milano el próximo año 2021 es una prioridad absoluta para todos cuyas vidas giran en torno al diseño. Nos hemos esforzado mucho durante las últimas semanas para no hacer proclamaciones o anuncios susceptibles de cambio, a pesar de que durante los últimos meses, clientes y diseñadores de todo el mundo han estado pidiendo constantemente la confirmación de las fechas de esta edición.

Mover las fechas del Salone no es solo una cuestión de reajustar el calendario. También hay que considerar la gran cantidad de tiempo y esfuerzo que requiere montar y desmontar los distintos pabellones; así como la complejidad de coordinarlo con otras ferias celebradas en los espacios Fiera Milano. Ahora que hemos alcanzado la mejor solución posible, estamos en condiciones de confirmar la nueva fecha, explicó el presidente del Salone.

De esta manera, la sexagésima edición del Salone del Mobile.Milano se celebrará del 5 al 10 de septiembre de 2021 y reunirá por primera vez a todas las categorías de productos.

Impulsar el diseño a nivel mundial

Claudio Luti aclaró también que la decisión de aplazar el salón responde a la voluntad de dejar el tiempo suficiente para que la segunda ola de la pandemia disminuya. Esto brindará una oportunidad real de impulsar el diseño a nivel mundial.

Tras un largo período de distanciamiento físico y social en todos los ámbitos, queremos que el Salone sea una oportunidad de encuentro y debate. Una oportunidad para compartir la emoción con una ciudad llena de nuevas ideas.
