17.09.2020 The 39th edition of the International Materials Fair, Technology and Components for Furniture, Interior Design and Contract Projects will be held in 2021. FIMMA-Maderalia, which was scheduled to take place at the end of this year, is finally transferred to 2021.
The contest, therefore, meets the demands of exhibitors and the sector itself. They have requested the need to celebrate FIMMA-Maderalia in a more stable environment. The objective is to guarantee the business of the exhibitors themselves. And also the visit of national and international professionals, one of the axes of the success of a trade fair.
The evolution of the pandemic and the restrictions that Covid-19 is causing in the field of trade fairs advise against holding the appointment. FIMMA-Maderalia follows the path, in this edition, of the main world fairs of the sector. So, they have not been able to hold their calls this year and who have also chosen to postpone their respective appointments to 2021 in an environment with more business guarantees.
The FIMMA-Maderalia team has already set to work to celebrate its 39th edition as soon as possible. And adjust it to the world calendar of next year’s fairs. Furthermore, Since the event, work is also being carried out on different digital media that serve as commercial and marketing support to the exhibiting companies until the celebration in 2021 of the next FIMMA-Maderalia.
Two date changes before cancellation
The fair, which was originally planned to be held from March 10 to 13, was moved, first, to June (from 2 to 5) and then to the end of November. But, despite the desire of the event to be held in 2020, the difficult global situation this year, in the health field and, consequently, in the economy, has forced this measure to be taken.
