Nueva sesión técnica sobre materiales de WEcontract BCN

WEcontract BCN celebró ayer una sesión sobre materiales técnicos específica para el sector. El evento, dirigido a arquitectos, interioristas y promotores del contract, contó con la participación de 16 asistentes. 

14.09.2018 La sesión, organizada por WEcontract BCN, showroom colaborativo de 12 empresas con oferta complementaria para el canal contract gestionado por CENFIM, discurrió en dos bloques y contó con la participación de tres de las marcas representadas en el showroom WEcontract BCN: Bustper (mobiliario de hotel y carpintería), NMC (molduras decorativas sintéticas y tarimas de exteriores) y Sonae Arauco (tableros decorativos para mobiliario y proyectos contract).

En el primer bloque, Andreu Rovira, responsable de Prescripción de Catalunya en Sonae Arauco, presentó soluciones en madera para proyectos contract con especial enfoque en las propiedades y ventajas de los tableros de MDF tintados y su utilización para la decoración. Seguidamente, Pablo Bustos, director de Producto en Bustper, ofreció una charla sobre la resistencia y posibilidades de aplicación en proyectos de interiorismo de los soportes compactados y tintados, poniendo ejemplos reales de instalación.

A continuación, Josep Domenech Jofre, Building Engineer en EDDOM y colaborador en GCA Arquitects, desarrolló un case study sobre aplicación de estándares europeos en la ejecución de un proyecto en África en el cual se utilizaron los materiales que se presentaron en la sesión: el Noom Hotel Cotonou, del grupo Mangalis. Este hotel refleja un nuevo paisaje urbano que nace de la esencia de una África moderna, combinando estándares creativos de hoteles internacionales y experiencias con interpretaciones contemporáneas de la arquitectura africana. Es un hotel ecológico con estándares ambiciosos para el consumo de energía y la reducción de emisiones de CO2, la eliminación de barreras arquitectónicas, la gestión de residuos y la reducción de la contaminación acústica.

Gran Hotel Inglés

En el segundo bloque, Jordi Portet, responsable de Prescripción en NMC Ibérica, impartió una ponencia sobre materiales sintéticos y las posibilidades de este tipo de molduras, paneles, rosetones…, en arquitectura interior y exterior. Finalmente, Iván Crespo, CEO &Founder en Crazy Contract, expuso otro estudio de caso sobre el uso de estos perfiles sintéticos en proyectos de lujo a través del ejemplo del Gran Hotel Inglés en Madrid: en la ponencia, explicó qué materiales técnicos se seleccionaron, así como el desarrollo de implementación y ejecución de los trabajos realizados por el estudio de diseño.

El Gran Hotel Inglés se inauguró en 1853. Este emblemático establecimiento fue el primer hotel con restaurante, en la primera calle con luz eléctrica de Madrid, y se convirtió en un icono cultural en la ciudad. La cadena de hoteles de lujo Hidden Away Hotels lo ha renovado recientemente,y su proyecto de interiorismo ha sido objeto de una gran repercusión en medios del sector.
