Formica Group patrocina el evento de diseño Producto Fresco 2018

Formica Group patrocina la séptima edición de Producto Fresco, la cita con el mejor diseño industrial y de producto ideado, editado o producido durante el último año por diseñadores y empresas con base en Madrid (Central de Diseño de Matadero Madrid, 12 de junio- 5 de agosto). La firma colabora también con una iniciativa de diseño solidario.

07.06.2018 Organizado desde 2012 por DIMAD, Producto Fresco, el evento pratocinado por Formica Group, se ha convertido en los últimos seis años en una plataforma, escaparate y termómetro de la actualidad del diseño de producto, mostrando los proyectos más novedosos y a su vez reflejando las necesidades y problemáticas a las que se enfrentan los diseñadores en su día a día.

Producto Fresco es una apuesta por promover el diseño de manera plural, abierta e intergeneracional, donde el público profesional puede nutrirse de los proyectos expuestos y el público general tiene la posibilidad de disfrutar y valorar el diseño de producto como parte fundamental de la cultura.

Diseño solidario con Formica ColorCore

Asimismo, Formica Group presentará en Producto Fresco dos propuestas artísticas realizadas con los laminados Formica ColorCore y con un fin solidario:

  • Tropical Equilibrium, de Antonyo Marest. Antonyo Marest (Alicante, 1987), un creador multimedia -entre otras facetas, pintor, escultor, fotógrafo y diseñador- referente actual en el campo del arte urbano con influencias Art Deco y Pop Art y con una obra muy variada, repartida entre España, Suiza, Rumanía, Marruecos o Corea del Sur, entre otros países. En Tropical Equilibrium, Marest consigue remontarse a su infancia a la hora de dar forma a estas piezas con los juegos de madera con los que creaba sus universos arquitectónicos, ahora adaptados a su obra con este equilibrio tropical, de colores vivos y llamativos que hacen que las figuras poligonales complementen sus pesos a la vez que sus colores para moldear esta escultura.
  • FormicaToro, de Mark Adam. Mark Adam (Newcastle upon Tyne, 1988), diseñador gráfico de Formica Group Europe, cuenta con un amplio bagaje profesional en el mundo del diseño y una importante vocación artística. Adam se inspira en la fuerza e iconografía que representa la figura del toro y potencia su significado, haciendo un giño al movimiento LGTB a través del color en esta obra realizada con los laminados Formica ColorCore.

 

El jueves 28 de Junio, coincidiendo con el Día Internacional del Orgullo LGTB, Producto Fresco organizará un evento en el que se subastarán, de la mano de DIMAD e Ink and Movement, las dos esculturas. El importe obtenido con esta doble subasta será íntegramente donado a la iniciativa solidaria e internacional It Gets Better, que tiene por objeto combatir el bullying y acoso contra niños y niñas, adolescentes y jóvenes LGTB.
