Scavolini patrocina un año más el ROF – Rossini Opera Festival, instituido con el objetivo de recuperar y volver a poner en escena el extraordinario patricimio musical aportado por Gioachino Rossini.

La XXIX edición del ROF – Rossini Opera Festival, celebrado en Pesaro (Italia ) del 9 al  23 de agosto, ha presentado dos nuevas producciones: Ermione (dirigida por Roberto Abbado y puesta en escena por Daniele Abbado),  y Maometto II (puesta en escena por Michael Hampe).

El patrocinio del ROF por parte de Scavolini durante 27 años testimonia su estrecha relación con su territorio de residencia, que considera uno de los factores decisivos de su éxito.

Para consolidar este compromiso, Scavolini fundó en 1984 su propia Fundación que, con verdaderas operaciones de mecenazgo, se propone incrementar y promover la investigación en el campo de las ciencias históricas, literarias, económicas, del diseño industrial y favorecer iniciativas destinadas a la instrucción, la recreación y la asistencia social. Por tanto, la política social es para Scavolini una vocación propiamente dicha que la pone a favor de las personas para satisfacer en forma concreta sus necesidades.
