Su acreditación como Embajador, otorgada ayer en un acto celebrado en Madrid con la presencia de los Reyes de España, se encuadra en la categoría de Gestión Empresarial.

Francisco Martínez-Cosentino, presidente de Grupo Cosentino, fue nombrado ayer martes nuevo Embajador Honorario de la Marca España, en un acto celebrado en el Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid bajo la presidencia de los Reyes de España. Este nombramiento es un reconocimiento público otorgado por el Foro de Marcas Renombradas Españolas (FMRE), en colaboración con la Oficina del Alto Comisionado del Gobierno para la Marca España.

La de este año es la séptima edición de estos galardones que se entregan de forma bienal con el beneplácito también del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperación, y cuyo objetivo es reconocer públicamente a las personas físicas o jurídicas que con su trabajo contribuyen a mejorar o generar una imagen positiva de España en el exterior. En el caso de Francisco Martínez-Cosentino, su acreditación como Embajador se encuadra en la categoría de Gestión Empresarial, resaltándole como uno de los empresarios españoles con mayor vocación internacional e innovadora, habiendo convertido al grupo que preside en un caso de éxito internacional, líder mundial en el ámbito de la arquitectura y el diseño, y total referente en materia de internacionalización.

Además de Martínez-Cosentino, el acto de entrega de acreditaciones contó con la presencia del resto de embajadores nombrados en esta séptima promoción. Estos embajadores son: Juan Ignacio Cirac (en la categoría de Ciencia e Innovación), Sara Baras (Cultura y Comunicación), Gabriel Escarrer (Turismo y Gastronomía), Andrés Iniesta (Deportes), Obra Social La Caixa (Acción Social) y Real Instituto Elcano (Relaciones Institucionales).
