Nuevo presidente de ACEPV

Jon Sáenz es el nuevo presidente de ACEPV (Asociación de Comerciantes de Electrodomésticos de El País Vasco) desde primeros de mes, en substitución de Roberto Rodríguez.

Jon Sáenz, gerente de FECE país VascoJon Sáenz, Gerente de Cordevi S. Coop. (plataforma del grupo Expert en País Vasco, Navarra, Cantabria, Burgos y La Rioja) (en la imagen), ha sido nombrado presidente de la Asociación de Comerciantes de Electrodomésticos del País Vasco (ACEPV), asociación vasca integrada en la Federación Española de Comerciantes de Electrodomésticos.

Sáenz, que sustituye a Roberto Rodríguez, tendrá como prioridad al frente de la asociación conseguir un nuevo Plan Renove regional de electrodomésticos repitiendo el éxito de años anteriores. Jon se incorpora a su nuevo cargo como presidente después de una larga carrera profesional en el sector de más de 15 años.

Ingeniero Técnico de Minas, comenzó su carrera profesional en Servicios Integrados Jaritrans, para dar cobertura a las necesidades logísticas de Ericsson, de donde pasó a integrarse como Delegado Comercial de Indesit Company en una región que logró desarrollar como la más importante a nivel nacional. Tras ello, fue nombrado Director Regional de la zona norte en Mepamsa, donde trabajó durante tres años antes de integrarse esta empresa en el Grupo Franke, donde permaneció como Key Account Manager hasta 2011, con grandes responsabilidades en el área de gestión en diferentes regiones.

Ese mismo año fue escogido como Gerente del Grupo Icoben, un grupo constituido por 14 sociedades en
España cuyo factor común es la identidad de plataformas mayoristas con actividad en el canal mueblista o de encastre de cocinas.

Sus retos como nuevo presidente, aparte del relanzamiento del Plan Renove, serán la consecución de una mejor gestión de RAEEs por parte de los comercios, el aumento del consumo en el comercio de proximidad, el crecimiento del número de tiendas de electrodomésticos o el fomento de la compra de aparatos de mayor  eficiencia energética, promoviendo así la información entre los consumidores.

La Asociación de Comerciantes de Electrodomésticos del País Vasco agrupa a 170 establecimientos del sector en la región, siendo el principal representante del comercio de electrodomésticos en Euskadi.
