La Confederación Europea de Industrias de la Madera anuncia nuevo presidente, vicepresidentes y consejeros.

El pasado 13 de enero de 2016, la Asamblea General de la Confederación Europea de Industrias de la Madera (CEI-Bois) eligió en Bruselas a su nuevo presidente, vicepresidentes y consejeros.

CEI-Bois nombra nuevo secretario general

Anders Ek (presidente de SCA Timber Supply), de Suecia, fue elegido nuevo presidente del CEI-Bois. Marc Michielsen (ex director de Gobierno y Asuntos Regulatorios EMEA de CHEP), el presidente saliente, fue elegido presidente de honor y permanecerá en la Junta como vicepresidente.

Erich Wiesner (propietario y director general de Wiehag AG, presidente de la Federación Austriaca de las Industrias del Mueble y la Madera) fue elegido vicepresidente y Vítor Poças (industrial, presidente de AIMMP, la Asociación Portuguesa de las Industrias del Mueble y la Madera) fue reelegido vicepresidente.
 
La Junta CEI-Bois de Administración se renovó asimismo para el próximo período de dos años, con los siguientes consejeros.

Sampsa Auvinen (CEO de Norvik Timber, y residente de EOS, Organización Europea de Aserraderos)
– Filip De Jaeger (director general adjunto de Fedustria, Federación Belga delas Industrias del Mueble y la Madera)
– Markku Herrala (director de Accionistas de ​​UPM Plywood, Finlandia)
– Dr. Mathias Schäfer (director general de FingerHaus GmbH e. Al., Alemania)
– Bert Kattenbroek

El presidente de CEI-Bois, Marc Michielsen, felicitó a Anders Ek por su elección como nuevo presidente y comunicó sus mejores deseos a la nueva Junta. La Asamblea General expresó su gratitud a los salientes presidente Michielsen y miembros de la Junta Arto Juvonen y Måns Johansson.
