Rafa Nadal, en Australia con Dekton

En Melbourne, ciudad que acogerá a partir de hoy el Open de Australia, Rafael Nadal participó en un acto junto a Dekton.

Dekton es uno de los principales patrocinadores de la Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar. En un céntrico hotel, el tenista mantuvo un encuentro con 50 clientes australianos de la multinacional, que han podido conocer en primera persona al campeón español.

Durante el acto, celebrado la tarde del pasado jueves, la marca le preparó además un emotivo homenaje, al plasmar a través de diferentes vinilos y tablas de Dekton una selección de los 14 torneos Grand Slam que hasta la fecha engalanan el palmarés del manacorí. Al finalizar el encuentro, Nadal puso su firma en dichas superficies, correspondientes a los últimos colores lanzados al mercado de Dekton, que serán guardadas en las instalaciones de Cosentino en Australia para futuras acciones.

Nadal declaró que El Open de Australia es uno de mis torneos favoritos, y estoy encantado de iniciar mi estancia aquí en Melbourne junto a mis amigos de Cosentino tanto para celebrar la próxima apertura de la Academia, como el éxito que está alcanzado la firma en Australia. He trabajado muy duro para llegar al Abierto de este año en las mejores condiciones posibles, y por supuesto confío en contar con todo el equipo de Cosentino animándome durante el torneo.

Esta nueva colaboración se enmarca dentro de la relación que se estableció a finales de 2014, por la que Dekton es sponsor de la Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, la academia de tenis que el deportista tiene prevista abrir en mayo de este año en Manacor, su localidad natal, para fomentar los valores del deporte entre los más jóvenes. Este proyecto servirá además como muestra de todas las posibilidades arquitectónicas y de diseño que ofrece Dekton, ya que el material se aplicará en fachadas, suelos y otros revestimientos de las diferentes instalaciones.

Por último cabe recordar que Dekton, superficie ultracompacta fruto de la apuesta permanente por la innovación de Cosentino, será este año patrocinador principal del Mutua Madrid Open 2016, único evento ATP World Tour Másters 1000 y WTA Premier Mandatory que se celebra en Europa de manera combinada.
