Augsten releva en el cargo a Holger Bomm, quien deja la empresa por su propia voluntad, después de casi tres años de éxito al timón. Augsten será responsable de las áreas de investigación y desarrollo, ventas y servicio, y relaciones comerciales. También actuará como portavoz de la administración de la compañía. Walter Visel continuará en su puesto como director general adjunto, responsable de las áreas de gestión de la producción, la calidad y los materiales.

Wolfgang Augsten es un hombre con fuertes raíces en el Grupo Homag y más de treinta años de experiencia en la industria. Entre 2010-2012 fue gerente de Bütfering Schleiftechnik GmbH,  y previamente se hizo cargo de los negocios de la Homag Group AG en Europa del Este y Oriente Medio.
Los fabricantes de maquinaria para la madera sólo pueden tener éxito si se centran en sus clientes, afirma Wolfgang Augsten. Sus necesidades deben ser el punto de referencia para todos los productos, desarrollos y servicios.

Según Augsten, Holzma ya está muy bien preparada a este respecto: Bajo la dirección de Holger Bomm, la gama de productos se ha renovado para que los clientes de Holzma dispongan exactamente de lo que necesitan. Otro factor importante son las numerosas novedades lanzadas al mercado en los últimos años, que hacen a Holzma líder del segmento de la tecnología del panel. Todo esto viene a demostrar que la gestión y el personal han hecho un excelente trabajo en los últimos años. Quiero construir sobre esto y fortalecer aún más al equipo.
