La nueva Indaux India se engloba en la estrategia de multilocalización que la empresa vasca sigue desde hace tres años.

Indaux India se constituyó como sociedad el 6 de agosto de este año y es el resultado de la alianza estratégica de Indaux con dos socios industriales de dicho país: Vinay Kothari y Sudhir Mehta. Por parte de Indaux, la dirección de la nueva empresa se complementa con Javier García y Mikel Arzallus.

La nueva implantación de Indaux en la India surge con el objetivo de fabricar y comercializar los productos de Indaux en este mercado y países de influencia del área SAARC. Las oficinas centrales se encuentran en la ciudad de Pune, de gran tradición industrial, que con más de 5 millones de habitantes es la séptima ciudad más grande en La India, y la segunda en importancia del estado de Maharashtra después de Mumbai.

El presidente de la nueva sociedad será Rajeev Okhandiar, hasta ahora director ejecutivo de Vans Gypsum India, y que anteriormente ha ocupado cargos de alta dirección en empresas multinacionales como Saint-Gobain India o Hettich. Rajeev Okhandiar colaborará estrechamente con Asier Lizaso, responsable para la zona de Indaux, en el desarrollo de las acciones comerciales para la zona. También se incorpora al equipo Óscar Camp, que será el responsable de la organización interna del proyecto. Óscar es ingeniero industrial por la EUSS, Escola Universitaria Salesiana de Sarrià (Barcelona), y se traslada al país asiático tras un período de training en la sede central de Indaux en Getaria.

Como explica Enrique Rioja, director general de Grupo Indaux: Somos una empresa multinacional que cuenta con implantaciones en diferentes países sin perder las raíces industriales ni deslocalizar plantas productivas. Indaux India forma parte de esta estrategia expansionista y creativa, que nos ayudará a acceder a los mercados del SAARC. Vamos a seguir aportando conocimiento y tecnología a nuestros productos con una mayor cercanía a las necesidades de nuestros clientes y colaboradores. Ahora más que nunca, debemos ser actores globales con espíritu local.

Indaux India presentará su oferta al mercado durante la próxima edición de la feria Delhiwood, que se celebrará del 4 al 7 de febrero de 2015.
