Se hace efectiva la compra de Fagor por parte de Cata

Fagor vuelve al trabajo. La firma de la compra de los activos de la compañía por CNA Group fue el pasado 31 de octubre.

Hasta el pasado viernes no se ha podido materializar la compra de los activos de Fagor por parte de Cata, un hecho meramente protocolario que su pone en la práctica la vuelta a la actividad para el fabricante vasco de electrodomésticos.

La firma ante notario de la transmisión de los activos de Fagor afavor del grupo CNA se realizó en Barcelona con la presencia de las entidades financieras firmantes, lideradas por Caixabank, entre las que se figuran, además de la citada, Bankia, Banco Popular, Banco Sabadell y Banco Santander.

Según el comunicado enviado por la compañía, durante este tiempo se ha ido realizando todo el proceso de contratación de personal, formado casi en su totalidad por exsocios cooperativistas y trabajadores experimentados por cuenta ajena. Se trata de 155 nuevos empleos hasta la fecha, que se irán incorporando a diferentes departamentos con la idea de recuperar, de forma inmediata, la actividad comercial e industrial de la nueva empresa.

Desde el punto de vista industrial se ha estado trabajando en la planificación de la producción de los próximos meses, realizando el aprovisionamiento de componentes, con el claro objetivo de iniciar la actividad productiva de las plantas de Garagarza y Eskoriatza y poder llevar a cabo una implementación industrial progresiva del nuevo proyecto.
