AIDIMA, por la conservación de edificios históricos

Representantes de la Fundación Santa María la Real y el Instituto Tecnológico AIDIMA han firmado un convenio de colaboración destinado a continuar facilitando la conservación y gestión integral de edificios históricos.

Ambas entidades llevan tiempo trabajando en el ámbito de la restauración y conservación del Patrimonio y han desarrollado ya proyectos conjuntos, como el proyecto europeo SHBuildings, en colaboración con otras instituciones y empresas, que ha servido para monitorizar tres edificios históricos.

Además, tanto el Instituto Tecnológico del Mueble, Madera, Embalaje y Afines, AIDIMA, como la Fundación Santa María la Real han apostado claramente por la innovación. En este sentido, la entidad aguilarense ha desarrollado el MHS (Monitoring Heritage System) que permite evaluar y controlar diversos parámetros decisivos e influyentes en la conservación del edificio histórico, con el objetivo de asegurar la sostenibilidad de su gestión, así como su óptimo mantenimiento y el de los bienes que alberga.

Por su parte, AIDIMA, tras más 20 años de experiencia con un servicio tecnológico de inspección y diagnosis de madera estructural, ha desarrollado y patentado el sistema CADIX para la monitorización del estado de la madera estructural y ornamental con la detección de agentes xilófagos. La importancia y utilidad de CADIX ha sido reconocida internacionalmente al conseguir alzarse con el prestigioso premio austriaco Schweighofer 2009 de innovación en madera a la mejor investigación aplicada.

Con este convenio, ambas entidades unen fuerzas para contribuir a la promoción y comercialización de sus respectivos sistemas y seguir incidiendo en la colaboración y el trabajo en torno a la innovación en el sector del Patrimonio.
