ZOW Moscow 2013 ends tomorrow

The 10th anniversary ZOW exhibition for components and accessories for the furniture industry is being held from 18th from 22 November in pavilion 7, halls 1 and 2 of Moscow Expocenter Krasnaya Presnya, concurrently with Moscow MEBEL 2013.

ZOW is co-organised by RESTEC, one the leaders in exhibition business in Russia, and Clarion Events Deutschland GmbH, the owner of this expo brand and the organiser of this project for 18 years in European and Asian markets.
215 companies from Austria, Germany, Denmark, Italy, China, Korea, Poland, Russia, the USA, Turkey and the Czech Republic participate in the anniversary exhibition. Over the years of active development of the project, the Russian market came up with a number of regular exhibitors, many of them have been participating in ZOW from its very inception, e.g. BOYARD, BRASS, Gildo Profilati, GTV, Imawell, Lignadecor, Samet, REHAU, Renolit, Valmax, SLOROS, Eurohim-1 Trading House, etc. After a long break, Grass company come back to the exhibition due to the increased prestige of the project in the professional community. For the first time DUSLAR, being a former participant of Mebel exhibition, exhibit at ZOW this time.

The exposition demonstrates the fullest range of furniture fittings and components: embedded elements and systems, chemical products, interior décor, raw materials and finished materials, semi-finished products, boards, tools and many other items. Impro hinges with mounted door closer manufactured by Samet company, fresh designs of facing stones from Apietra series by Akrilika holding, HPL plastic panels in brand new design from AnnaPaura, Rivera, Ceramics and Rainy series, supplied by Eurohim-1 Trading House and many other products are released for the first time at ZOW. The ZOW project makes new fittings integrated into new furniture collections and fosters the development of international cooperation. It creates grounds for favorable business ties, and develops distribution network of manufacturers of furniture fittings and components.

Business programme supplements the exhibition with a number of workshops, seminars and presentations. Furniture quality expertise is one of the business programme topics and is covered by Sergey Guschin, Director of Independent Inspection Services Center of Furniture Expertise and Quality Control, member of standardization committee at Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology, member of non-governmental organization National Chamber of Forensic Inquiry. He also run a case-study called Debates over infringement of customer’s rights, based on previously held expertise and consultations.

The 11th international ZOW exhibition for components and accessories for the furniture industry will be held on May 12-15, 2014 in modern highly-equipped pavilion 75 of All-Russian Exhibition Center (VVC) jointly with FIDexpo b2b-exhibition.
