Desde finales de septiembre, 15 cocineros profesionales competirán cada semana para alcanzar el título de Top Chef con ayuda de los mejores electrodomésticos de la gama Inspiration de Electrolux.

Electrolux será el proveedor oficial del programa de cocina de moda en todo el mundo, Top Chef, un talent show producido por Boomerang Tv que comenzará a emitirse a finales de este mes de septiembre en Antena 3. En él, 15 cocineros profesionales tendrán que mostrar sus habilidades para hacerse con el título de Top Chef y obtener un premio en metálico para invertir en su restaurante, así como una cocina completa equipada con aparatos de Electrolux.

El programa lleva emitiéndose con éxito en Estados Unidos desde hace diez temporadas, y se han hecho versiones en Canadá, Francia (donde acaba de finalizar la cuarta temporada), Portugal, Grecia, Finlandia, Rumania y Países Árabes, habiendo obtenido numerosos galardones a nivel internacional, entre los que destacan dos premios Emmy.

Top Chef llega ahora a España, donde será capitaneado por Alberto Chicote (Cocinero del año 2006 y Mejor Restaurante 2010); que, junto a Ángel León (1 estrella Michelin, 3 soles Repsol y Premio Nacional de Gastronomía 2012); y Susi Díaz (1 estrella Michelin y 2 soles Repsol), serán los jueces que evaluarán a los cocineros a lo largo de los 12 programas que emitirá la cadena. Además, David de Jorge, conocido popularmente como Robin Food, será colaborador del talent culinario.

Los participantes competirán en pruebas individuales y grupales. En cada programa uno será eliminado y se enfrentarán a retos similares a los que afronta un chef a diario en su cocina. Para ello contarán con la mejor ayuda: los electrodomésticos de la gama Inspiration de Electrolux, marca escogida por la mitad de los chefs europeos con estrellas Michelin y que lleva casi un siglo suministrando sus productos a los más prestigiosos restaurantes.

Equipo de lujo
Electrolux ha equipado la cocina de Top Chef con todo lo necesario para que estos 15 participantes hagan sus mejores recetas. Desde las placas de inducción hasta las batidoras, pasando por los hornos a vapor así como aparatos profesionales como envasadoras al vacío, amasadoras etc, han sido cedidos por Electrolux. Además, todos los concursantes se llevarán una placa y un horno de regalo y el ganador obtendrá una cocina completa con productos de la nueva gama Inspiration.

La firma, tradicionalmente vinculada al mundo de la gastronomía y de la cocina profesional, se encuentra inmersa en numerosos proyectos relacionados con el universo culinario: la creación de una red nacional de escuelas de cocina, con escuelas en Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Valencia, Valladolid y Baleares, y otras cuantas aperturas previstas para antes de finales de año; el restaurante efímero The Cube, que cautivó en Londres, Estocolmo y Moscú y la participación en los talleres magistrales de la última edición de Madrid Fusión, proyectos a los que se suma ahora la participación como proveedor oficial de Top Chef.
