Nueva etapa de Xey

La firma vasca fabricante de mueble de cocina emprende una nueva etapa tras recibir una inyección de capital del empresario Victoriano Susperregui.

Según la información recogida por El Diario Vasco, Susperregui, el que fuera vicepresidente de las patronales vascas Adegi y Confesbank, ha tomado el control de Xey, la empresa fabricante de mueble de cocina de Zumaia (Guipúzcua), con la que mantenía una vinculación especial, puesto que inició en ella sus primeros pasos en el ámbito profesional.

Susperregui ha adquirido una participación mayoritaria  en Xey después de la salida el pasado año de la empresa de capital riesgo 3i, que poseía el 49% de la sociedad. La misma fuente habla de una inyección de capital de 6 millones de euros para relanzar la compañía.

Las ventas de Xey vienen resintiéndose desde el comienzo de la crisis. La empresa ha pasado de una cifra de negocio de casi 53 millones de euros en 2007 a 16,5 en 2011.
