Esther Berrozpe, presidenta de Whirlpool EMEA

La española Esther Berrozpe, de 43 años, ha sido nombrada presidenta de Whirlpool EMEA. Es la primera vez que una mujer accede al cargo.

Esther Berrozpe, 43 años, vasca, casada y con un hijo, ha sido nombrada presidenta de Whirlpool EMEA y entra a formar parte del Comité Ejecutivo de la multinacional. Su nombramiento será efectivo desde el 1 de mayo de 2013.

Es la primera mujer en ocupar el cargo de presidenta en la historia de Whirlpool. Berrozpe sucederá a José Drummond y su referente directo será Marc Bitzer, presidente de Whirlpool Norte América. 

Berrozpe, actual VicepresiEsther Berrozpe, presidenta de Whirlpool EMEA.denta de mercados europeos Whirlpool Emea, cargo que ocupa desde el 1 de agosto de 2012, se licenció en Economía & Business Administration en la Universidad de Deusto en San Sebastián. En 1993 realizó cursos de Economía e International Business en la Universidad de Bergamo en el ámbito del programa Erasmus. Empezó a trabajar en Whirlpool en el año 2000, siendo primero Directora de Marketing y Trade Marketing Iberia, posteriormente Directora de Brand & Value Brands y Directora de Category Food Preparation para Europa trabajando en Comerio.

En 2008 pasó a Whirlpool Norte América, en la sede de Benton Harbor, siendo primero General Manager de Cooking y luego Vicepresidenta de Brand Product Business, donde se implicó en primera persona en la definición y ejecución de la estrategia de mercado que permitió alcanzar el éxito significativo de esa región.

Antes de su entrada en Whirlpool, Berrozpe fue Category Manager de Paglieri, Senior Category Manager de Sara Lee Personal Products y Directora de Marketing y Trade Marketing para España de Wella Group.
