Cosentino y la Fundación Rafael del Pino retan a emprendedores tecnológicos, científicos e investigadores españoles a proponer proyectos que resuelvan tecnológicamente los problemas de España. Es Call to Innovation.

Grupo Cosentino presenta, junto a la Fundación Rafael del Pino, la competición Call to Innovation, cuyo objetivo es promover la investigación e innovación entre emprendedores españoles.

Call To Innovation Cosentino

Call to Innovation es una llamada al optimismo, a la acción y reta a proponer ideas y proyectos para resolver los grandes problemas de España a través de la tecnología. Esta competición hace un llamamiento a la sociedad española para que ponga en marcha su creatividad, su talento y su conocimiento para crear soluciones reales utilizando los últimos avances tecnológicos.

La competición permanecerá abierta del 22 de enero al 4 de marzo de 2013, y se dirige a toda la sociedad española, y más concretamente a emprendedores, investigadores, científicos y estudiantes universitarios.

Los dos ganadores de la competición recibirán una beca cada uno, valorada en 24.000 euros, para estudiar, en la sede de la NASA en Silicon Valley, el programa de postgrado (Graduate Studies Program) de Singularity University durante el verano de 2013. Este programa interdisciplinar de 10 semanas de duración es uno de los más selectivos del mundo, y entre las miles de solicitudes que se reciben cada año, se seleccionan a 80 líderes y emprendedores tecnológicos de 35 países del mundo para analizar los mayores avances tecnológicos que están transformando el mundo y explorar cómo usarlos para resolver los grandes problemas de la Humanidad.

La presentación oficial de Call to Innovation tuvo lugar el pasado miércoles 23 de enero en la sede de la Fundación Rafael del Pino de Madrid, coincidiendo con la conferencia magistral que desarrolló Salim Ismail, bajo el título Las tecnologías disruptivas y el futuro de España. Salim Ismail es un emprendedor múltiple de gran prestigio internacional, director general y fundador de Singularity University, fundador de la incubadora de empresas de Yahoo, y fundador de siete empresas tecnológicas en Silicon Valley.
