CONFEMADERA impulsa la acreditación de competencias profesionales

CONFEMADERA promueve la acreditación profesional para los trabajadores del sector con conocimientos y sin titulación.

La Confederación Española de Empresarios de la Madera, CONFEMADERA, está inmersa en la ejecución de una acción complementaria y de acompañamiento a la formación, financiada por la Fundación Tripartita para la Formación en el Empleo, destinada a elaborar propuestas  de reconocimiento y acreditación de competencias profesionales adquiridas por los trabajadores del sector de la madera en el marco de la negociación colectiva.

Entre los objetivos del proyecto están facilitar la intervención de los agentes sociales en  procesos  de  reconocimiento, así como la acreditación de  competencias  profesionales -regulada por el Real Decreto 1224/2009, de 7 de julio (BOE de 25 de agosto de 2009)- adquiridas por la experiencia laboral, de modo que por primera vez en el sector se establece un proceso de  reconocimiento  y  acreditación oficial de la experiencia laboral, a través de un certificado de profesionalidad o parte de un título de Formación Profesional.

Las cualificaciones y competencias que en su caso procederán a reconocerse son la MAM059_2 Instalación de Muebles y la MAM277_2 Instalación de Elementos de Carpintería.

Los trabajadores que pueden optar a este reconocimiento son aquellos en activo o desempleados que han adquirido sus conocimientos profesionales con el desempeño de su profesión y no tengan acreditación oficial; y concretamente a los que han desarrollado su actividad profesional en el área de instalación (al menos durante tres años) en empresas dedicadas a la fabricación, comercialización e instalación de mobiliario o de elementos de carpintería, bien sea por cuenta propia o ajena.

Este proceso de acreditación se llevará a cabo en Valencia donde se dan las condiciones para que la administración competente, en este caso la Consellería de Educación  Formación y Empleo, realice  una convocatoria de este tipo a solicitud de CONFEMADERA.

Según el presidente de CONFEMADERA, Francis Huidobro, “el reconocimiento de las competencias profesionales a los trabajadores del sector de la madera y el mueble con años de experiencia a sus espaldas es un paso muy importante para nuestra industria, ya que les va a permitir tener un certificado que avale su profesionalidad facilitándoles optar a un puesto de trabajo”.
