Hotpoint incorpora a sus frigoríficos la innovadora tecnología de oxígeno activo, que mantiene los alimentos frescos durante más tiempo.

La gama de combinados Evolution de Hotpoint incluye el  Sistema O3,  una innovadora tecnología que emite oxígeno activo –en forma de moléculas con 3 átomos de oxígeno- que previene la formación de bacterias y malos olores, manteniendo siempre las condiciones ideales para la preservación de los alimentos en el interior del frigorífico. El sistema O3 permite mantener en los alimentos la frescura del primer día durante más de 1 semana, y reducir el consumo energético hasta un 40% con respecto a la clase A.

Test bacteriológicos (realizados por la compañía independiente Sereco Biotest) han mostrado cómo el oxígeno activo reduce la proliferación de bacterias en los aparatos hasta un 90%, y los malos olores hasta un 70% con respecto a los aparatos tradicionales. Además, las paredes internas del combinado Evolution han recibido un tratamiento de iones de plata que ayudan a la conservación de los alimentos en las mejores condiciones.
 
Por otro lado, la tecnología Air Tech, junto con el nuevo diseño del interior del frigorífico, permiten que exista una temperatura constante y una circulación perfecta del aire, haciendo que los niveles de humedad sean siempre los más adecuados y alcance rápidamente el valor de temperatura prefijado.
 
La nueva gama de combinados destaca también por su diseño que proporciona un aumento de 20 litros de la capacidad interior del aparato manteniendo las mismas dimensiones externas de cualquier otro combinado, lo que permite por ejemplo, colocar 60 latas de refresco extra en su interior.

Y además de su capacidad, aumentan también su clasificación energética, con modelos de clase A+ y A++ reduciendo entre un 20% y un 40% respectivamente el consumo energético en comparación con los frigoríficos tradicionales, gracias no sólo a la tecnología del aparato si no también a que tienen luz led en su interior, que dura 10 veces más y consume 15 veces menos que las luces tradicionales.
