EgurTouch: una relación inteligente con el mueble

La corporación tecnológica TECNALIA ha desarrollado en colaboración con un consorcio de empresas vascas un nuevo concepto de relación con el mobiliario doméstico gracias al cual los muebles adquieren nuevas funcionalidades.

El proyecto, denominado EgurTOUCH, aprovecha el cálido tacto de la madera para convertir el mueble en el nuevo centro de control inteligente y tener así el dominio sobre los dispositivos eléctricos de nuestro hogar de forma sencilla e intuitiva.

De este modo, el usuario puede encender la luz de una habitación, la calefacción o regular la intensidad de diferentes dispositivos eléctricos alimentados a través de la red eléctrica, sin necesidad de pulsar un botón. Mediante este sistema se pueden llegar a gestionar hasta un total de 3 Amperios.

Los muebles que incorporan esta tecnología ofrecen un aspecto de calidad con múltiples acabados posibles y disponen de una zona en la que usuario puede controlar diferentes aplicaciones tocando sobre la cálida superficie de madera de su mueble.

Esta innovadora idea viene a satisfacer la creciente demanda de medios de interfaz sencillos con los que poder interactuar con los dispositivos eléctricos del hogar. Vista la feroz competencia existente en el mercado, el proyecto pretende que el mueble además de actuar como elemento decorativo y soporte, aporte funcionalidades adicionales.

En el proyecto participan dos empresas de Azpeitia: GRUMAL, perteneciente al Grupo del Mueble de la Corporación Mondragón y NUEVA LINEA, reconocido fabricante de muebles de diseño y vanguardia. También están presentes ELSON ELECTRÓNICA, dedicada a la producción y desarrollo de equipos electrónicos; la firma vizcaína EKOLEDS y la corporación tecnológica TECNALIA.
