Ganadores de la competición Call to Innovation

La Fundación Rafael del Pino acogió el pasado viernes, en colaboración con el Grupo Cosentino y el Centro de Innovación BBVA, la entrega de los premios de la competición `Call to Innovation 2012´, patrocinada por las tres entidades.

El primer puesto lo ha tenido Jordi Marti, un emprendedor social de Barcelona, elegido este año como Ashoka Fellow (el mayo reconocimiento del mundo para los emprendedores sociales) que ha desarrollado una tecnología que permite por muy bajo coste llevar los análisis de sangre a los países del tercer mundo. Su proyecto se llama DBS Screening.

El segundo puesto es para Pilar Manchón, doctora en inteligencia artificial, y fundadora y CEO de Bizzing, una empresa de alta tecnología con clientes en medio mundo. Ambos premios se traducirán en becas valoradas en 24.000 euros cada una, para estudiar el programa de postgrado (Graduate Studies Program) de Singularity University durante el verano de 2012, en la sede de la NASA en el Ames Park de Silicon Valley (EE.UU.).

Por otro lado, Floqq y Grouval han sido los proyectos ganadores de sendas becas de 12.000 euros destinados a acelerar sus propuestas empresariales. El primero propone un nuevo modelo de educación y el segundo una nueva forma de crear empresas con alma social.

El reto planteado por esta competición, “¿Cómo mejorarías la vida de 10 millones de españoles a través de la tecnología?”, ha sido respondido por más de 100 emprendedores desde la apertura de la misma el pasado 7 de marzo.
