Joaquín Franco Lahoz, subdirector general y director del Área Económica de BSH Electrodomésticos España desde 1989, ha sido nombrado nuevo presidente de la organización sin ánimo de lucro, Fundación Ecolec.

Joaquín Franco, de BSH Electrodomésticos, nuevo presidente de EcolecJoaquín Franco Lahoz es miembro del patronato de la Fundación Ecolec, cuyo fin es financiar de forma eficiente la recogida, el tratamiento, la valorización y la eliminación de los residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos (RAEE) y toma el relevo en el cargo de presidente a Fabián Bilbao, director general del Grupo Fagor Electrodomésticos.

Nacido en Zaragoza, Joaquín Franco Lahoz es ingeniero aeronáutico por la ETS de Ingenieros Aeronáuticos de Madrid, titulado en Administración de Empresas por la EOI y MBA del IESE. Antes de ocupar el puesto de subdirector general y director del Área Económica de BSH Electrodomésticos España, fue director administrativo-financiero de Balay, compañía que pasó a integrarse en el Grupo BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte en 1989; y, antes de esa fecha, director general durante siete años de la empresa Turismo Zaragoza.

Entre otros cargos de máxima responsabilidad, Franco Lahoz ha sido presidente de la Agrupación del IESE en Aragón (2003-2006), presidente de la Comisión Económica de la CREA (hasta 2009) y vicepresidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Zaragoza.
