Premio para Eco by Cosentino

Eco by Cosentino acaba de ser galardonado con el Premio Diseño para el Reciclaje 2011 de la Generalitat de Cataluña en la categoría `Mejor Material´.

El jurado de los Premios ha concedido este galardón a Eco by Cosentino por ser un producto que previene la generación de residuos y por ser reciclado y reciclable. Asimismo, ha reconocido otros aspectos importantes de este material, como el cumplimiento de la actual normativa ambiental; el I+D+i; la calidad de su diseño; que integre aspectos ambientales como el ahorro de energía, la minimización del consumo de agua o la disminución en la generación de emisiones; y porque aplica metodologías de análisis de ciclo de vida y mecanismos de estandarización ambiental.

Para conseguir este reconocimiento, Eco by Cosentino ha tenido que pasar las dos fases de las que consta este premio del reciclaje. Ambas fases han sido valoradas por expertos en medio ambiente, reciclaje, eco-diseño y por miembros de diferentes instituciones y entidades dedicadas al medio ambiente y al diseño.

 

El acto de entrega de galardones tuvo lugar en el Palau Robert de Barcelona. Por parte de Grupo Cosentino acudió Vicente Martínez-Cosentino Ramos, Gerente del Cosentino Barcelona Center.

Con este acto, se inauguraba también el “Mes del Diseño para el Reciclaje”, con el que se van a desarrollar diversas actividades, talleres y conferencias en Barcelona.
