La planta de Brugherio de Candy cumple 50 años

El Grupo Candy ha celebrado este mes el cincuenta aniversario de la apertura de la planta buque insignia Brugherio (Monza Brianza, Italia).

Durante la celebración, y con el fin de destacar la larga tradición de la marca (la primera lavadora italiana surgida en 1945 era una Candy) y el compromiso continuo con la innovación de productos y mejora del rendimiento, Candy presentó una nueva lavadora, la Candy GrandÓ Evo, diseñada, desarrollada y fabricada en Brugherio.

El Grupo Candy, con sede en Brugherio, cuenta con 950 puestos de trabajo: 600 en la planta y los demás en los laboratorios centrales de I+D, en gestión y en funciones de marketing. El servicio de atención al cliente y el de posventa de la filial Gias se ubican también en Brugherio, así como sus oficinas centrales, el centro de llamadas y la plataforma central de distribución de piezas de recambio.

Aldo Fumagalli,  Presidente y CEO del Grupo Candy comentó: “La celebración de hoy supone un hito importante en el desarrollo de nuestro Grupo, un Grupo creado y establecido por las dos generaciones previas de mi familia (…). Las lavadoras hechas en Brugherio (“made in Brugherio”) son la piedra angular de nuestra estrategia.
