Según fuentes de la organización, el dúo ferial ha entusiasmado a expositores y visitantes. Juntas, IMM y LivingKitchen han recibido 138.000 visitantes procedentes de 128 países.

Esta cifra (138.000 compradores profesionales y consumidores finales), representa un incremento del 38% en comparación con el año anterior, claro que en 2010 no se celebró LivingKitchen. Aún así, esto es una fantástica señal para las ferias de productos de consumo en Alemania y Colonia se vuelve a recuperar su posición en la industria del mueble.

Según declaraciones de secretario general de la Asociación de la Industria Alemana del Mueble, Dirk Uwe Klaas, "ha sido, con diferencia, la mejor feria del mueble de los últimos 10 años: más visitantes, más operaciones cerradas y el mejor ambiente posible”.

Ha habido significativos incrementos en las cifras de visitantes profesionales procedentes de Alemania pero también del extranjero, donde hay que mencionar especialmente a los Países Bajos, Francia, Italia y Suiza así como Europa del Este, en particular Rusia. Además se ha registrado la visita de más compradores procedentes de los importantes mercados de importación como Asia, Oriente Próximo y Norteamérica.

En total, las cifras de participantes han registrado incrementos de prácticamente todos los países. “Este resultado es una buena demostración del éxito obtenido por las variadas actividades y el gran entusiasmo que habíamos puesto en las medidas para dar a conocer la feria a visitantes nacionales e internacionales, que han constituido un auténtico éxito” ha declarado Gerald Böse, CEO de Koelnmesse.
