Formica reviste de color la sede judicial de Villaviciosa

Formica Group aporta su sello único al interior de la nueva sede judicial de Villaviciosa (Asturias), un atractivo y singular edificio realizado por los arquitectos Jovino Martínez Sierra y Felipe Díaz-Miranda y Macías.

En palabras de Jovino Martínez y Felipe Díaz-Miranda y Macías: el programa funcional se organiza mediante una espina longitudinal que agrupa circulaciones verticales, aseos y otras dependencias, separando las circulaciones públicas de las salas de vistas, el registro y el área administrativa. Este paquete de servicios se reviste con unos laminados decorativos de la serie Formica Colors distribuidos según un  código cromático que se va desplazando de planta a planta.



Otro elemento de gran originalidad son las fachadas, formadas por un sistema de celosías de chapa perforada plegada que conforma una protección solar pasiva con distinto calado en función de la orientación. Mediante las celosías, el edificio se hace opaco desde fuera y traslúcido desde el interior.

Según los arquitectos autores del proyecto: las combinaciones de colores, la distribución desenfadada de la iluminación, y los efectos cambiantes de la luz natural a través de la malla de chapa conceden a los espacios de trabajo una vibración especial.
