BSH Electrodomésticos España ha obtenido su inclusión en el registro voluntario de entidades adheridas a la Estrategia Aragonesa de Cambio Climático y Energías Limpias (EACCEL), dentro del nivel de compromiso 3, el más alto.

Este pacto implica que BSH ha analizado la estrategia, reconoce su contenido y se muestra de acuerdo con los objetivos que plantea. Asimismo, se compromete a la implementación de un Plan de Acción con medidas y actuaciones concretas de mitigación, que supongan reducciones efectivas de los gases de efecto invernadero considerados en el Protocolo de Kyoto, sujetas a verificación e incluidas en el sistema de Compromisos Voluntarios Compromiso por el Clima.


 
Este nivel de adhesión significa un compromiso importante y un esfuerzo notable de BSH Electrodomésticos España en la realización de acciones responsables en la reducción de gases de efecto invernadero, afirma Marina Sevilla Tello, Directora General de Calidad Ambiental y Cambio Climático.
 
Con la adhesión a este compromiso voluntario BSH se compromete a la reducción de consumos de energía en el túnel de pretratamiento de la instalación de recubrimientos de su fábrica de lavadoras, situada en La Cartuja, así como a presentar un informe verificado ante el Observatorio de la Sostenibilidad de España que confirme las reducciones realmente acaecidas anualmente.
