Ikea llegará en julio a Galicia

La compañía sueca de mobiliario y decoración tiene previsto abrir a finales de julio su primer establecimiento en Galicia, concretamente en La Coruña, en el polígono de A Grela. En él ha invertido 60 millones de euros.

Según la cadena sueca, la apertura supondrá la creación de 400 puestos de trabajo directos. En este momento, la compañía se encuentra en pleno proceso de selección de personal, tras finalizar el plazo de envío de candidaturas que estuvo abierto desde el 17 de enero hasta el pasado 28 de febrero y que registró un total de 45.982 solicitudes de empleo.

El local de La Coruña será la segunda apertura de una tienda de Ikea en España durante el ejercicio 2010, tras la apertura el pasado 20 de abril de otro establecimiento en Jerez (Cádiz). Con estos dos nuevos complejos, la compañía contará con 13 tiendas en España.

La empresa sueca asegura que su objetivo es seguir avanzando en su plan de expansión en España, que incluye la apertura de 12 nuevos establecimientos hasta 2015 y la creación de 20.000 puestos de trabajo, entre directos e indirectos.
