Secretos de la cocina accesible, en Maderalia

La feria Maderalia presentará en su exposición comercial la Cocina Accesible, un espacio en el que se podrán conocer las principales características y ventajas de una cocina adaptada.

El proyecto, que ha surgido y se ha desarrollado en el departamento de I+D+i de Cuindec y con la colaboración de Carlos Gausax, alumno en practicas de la UJI, consiste en el desarrollo de una cocina adaptada para personas con movilidad reducida, usuarias de sillas de ruedas.

A diferencia de las convencionales, esta cocina cumple el requisito fundamental de liberar de armarios la parte de debajo de la encimera, cuya altura también será inferior a las medidas standard. También tiene en cuenta las alturas de ubicación de los electrodomésticos para un correcto y cómodo acceso.

Por otro lado, en las zonas auxiliares o de almacenamiento, la altura y la profundidad del zócalo es la adecuada para que los pies del usuario no colisionen con los armarios; esto se consigue a través de módulos aéreos o incluso sobre estructuras de aluminio. Para los armarios altos existen sistemas de herrajes lo suficientemente desarrollados como para poder acceder a su interior.

En esta cocina también se encontrarán elementos de otras marcas como Häfele, Blum, Electrolux y Compac.
