Electrolux incrementa beneficios y facturación en el primer semestre

Electrolux mejoró sus resultados durante la primera mitad de 2007, según los últimos datos dados a conocer por la multinacional sueca.

Así, las ventas de la compañía ascendieron durante el mencionado período hasta los 50.715 millones de coronas suecas (unos 5.400 millones de euros), superando (un 1,7% más) los 49.875 millones de coronas suecas del mismo período de 2006.

Por su parte, los beneficios alcanzaron los 1.037 millones de coronas suecas (unos 110 millones de euros), sensiblemente por encima (un 34,2% más) de los 773 millones de coronas suecas obtenidas durante el primer semestre del ejercicio anterior.

El beneficio operativo, por su parte creció un 16,2% hasta los 1.678 millones de coronas suecas (unos 180 millones de euros).

Las claves para explicar estos buenos resultados se hallan en el excelente comportamiento de las ventas en Norteamérica, donde la firma ha ganado cuota de mercado y por los resultados de la división de cuidado de suelos (aspiradores), que se duplicaron en el segundo trimestre del año.

Asimismo, los resultados semesttrales de Electrolux ponen de manifiesto un fuerte crecimiento en Latinoamérica que contrasta con los menores ingresos del mercado europeo, lastrado por el incremento de los costes de las materias primas y por el retraso en el lanzamiento de algunos productos.

De cara al conjunto del ejercicio Electrolux confía en cerrar 2007 por encima de los resultados conseguidos en 2006.
